Terms of Service
Last updated 11 August 2026
Who these terms are with
These terms are between you and VoicePower, the communication coaching practice of Sean Sarginson in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By creating or using an account, selecting “Agree and continue”, or using a paid coaching service, you agree to these terms. The Privacy Notice explains how personal information is handled.
The service
VoicePower provides communication coaching, workshops, digital resources and AI roleplay practice. A university or organisation may sponsor your access under a separate pilot or services agreement. That agreement may define programme dates, support, reporting and retention, but it does not remove the participant protections described in the Privacy Notice.
Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and use only your own account. Participant accounts are intended for people aged 18 or over unless VoicePower and the sponsoring institution have agreed appropriate arrangements for a younger participant. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.
Voice roleplay and coach access
Voice practice requires microphone access and sends audio to VoicePower's voice provider so the conversation, transcript and formative feedback can be produced. The browser asks for microphone permission when a voice session starts. Your assigned VoicePower coach can review programme records as described in the Privacy Notice. University staff receive aggregate reporting unless a different disclosure is agreed and explained before it applies.
If you do not want to use voice processing, do not start a voice session and contact your coach or programme contact about alternatives. VoicePower does not currently promise an in-platform text replacement for every voice exercise.
AI feedback is not a decision
AI scores and feedback are practice aids. They can be incomplete, inconsistent or wrong and should be considered alongside human judgement. They are not academic grades, professional certification, medical or legal advice, or evidence for admissions, hiring, promotion or disciplinary decisions. VoicePower does not guarantee a particular score, interview result, job outcome or career result.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use another person's account or misrepresent your identity;
- record, upload or disclose confidential or sensitive third-party information;
- harass, threaten or impersonate another person through the service;
- probe, disrupt, overload or bypass security, access or usage controls;
- scrape, copy or reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits;
- use outputs to make high-stakes decisions about another person; or
- use the service unlawfully or infringe another person's rights.
Your content and confidentiality
You keep any rights you have in the material you submit. You give VoicePower and its service providers the limited permission needed to host, process and return that material as part of the service. VoicePower treats coaching and practice content as confidential, subject to the coach access, provider processing, institutional reporting, safety and legal disclosures set out in the Privacy Notice. We do not use pilot content in testimonials or identifiable case studies without separate permission.
VoicePower materials
The platform, scenarios, prompts, frameworks, worksheets, branding and other VoicePower materials remain owned by VoicePower or its licensors. You may use materials supplied to you for your own learning, but may not redistribute, resell or publish them without written permission.
Availability and changes
VoicePower may maintain, change or temporarily suspend features for security, reliability or provider reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. We will try to preserve completed participant records and give reasonable notice of a material programme change where practical. Voice access may also depend on browser, device, network and third-party provider availability.
Fees and cancellations
A university-sponsored participant owes no fee unless they separately agree to buy a service. Paid coaching begins when scope and price are accepted in writing and follows the payment and cancellation terms in the proposal or invoice. Discovery calls can be rescheduled using the booking link in the confirmation email.
Withdrawal and suspension
You may withdraw from a pilot through the programme page or by contacting VoicePower. VoicePower may suspend or end access for misuse, security risk, programme expiry or a sponsoring institution's lawful instruction. Withdrawal and deletion are different: withdrawing stops future programme activity, while deletion follows the process in the Privacy Notice.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, VoicePower is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, decisions made from AI feedback, or failures caused by devices, networks or third-party services outside its reasonable control. VoicePower's total liability arising from a paid service is limited to the fees paid for that service in the previous twelve months. For a free pilot, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
VoicePower may update these terms for legal, security or service changes. The updated date appears above. If a change materially affects an active programme, VoicePower will present the new version before requiring a fresh acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you.
