Trade show pitch and demo training before you meet the buyers
Give your team a clear opening, a purposeful demonstration and a confident next step.
VoicePower helps teams prepare for English-language conversations at overseas exhibitions and buyer meetings. Work backwards from your event date and rehearse the exchanges your team will need to handle, from the first question at the stand to a focused distributor discussion.
Prepare for a conversation that can change direction
A visitor may give you thirty seconds, ask a technical question before you start, or want to know whether you can support a distributor in their market. A prepared speech alone leaves those moments to chance.
We help the team move between a short introduction, a deeper product demonstration and a discussion about fit. Each rehearsal starts with a buyer role and a purpose, so participants practise listening as well as presenting.
Who this is for
Exhibiting sales teams
Start useful conversations, understand the visitor's needs and know when to introduce a specialist or arrange a longer meeting.
Founders and demonstrators
Explain the product clearly, show its relevance and recover when an interruption changes the demonstration.
Export and partnership teams
Prepare for retailer, distributor and partner discussions with clear questions, supported claims and an agreed next action.
What we work on
Share the event, target buyers and roles in your team. We select the conversations and time limits that make rehearsal useful for that setting.
- A short opening pitch. Explain what you do and invite a relevant question without launching into the full company story.
- Qualifying questions. Find out who the visitor is, what they are looking for and whether a deeper conversation would help.
- Product demonstrations. Prepare a short and a longer version, connect each feature to a buyer need and handle interruptions.
- Buyer objections and technical questions. Clarify the concern, answer what you know and agree how to follow up on what needs checking.
- Team handovers and next meetings. Introduce the right colleague, capture the purpose of the conversation and agree a specific follow-up.
Build preparation around your event date
Agree the situations
We begin with your exhibition or meeting date, product, likely visitors and team roles. Share suitable pitch and demo materials so the rehearsal reflects what you will actually present.
Practise the whole exchange
A preparation workshop or a short series of sessions can cover the opening, questions, demonstration and next step. Participants alternate roles, receive feedback and repeat the exchange with a different buyer need.
Leave with a shared approach
Take away short and extended pitch outlines, demo priorities, qualifying questions, handover prompts and individual rehearsal goals. Optional follow-up coaching can help the team apply what it learned after the event.
From CES and GITEX to your next buyer meeting
Whether you are preparing for CES, GITEX or a specialist industry exhibition, the starting point is the conversation your team expects to have. A retail buyer, a technical evaluator and a potential distributor will need different information.
Preparation is delivered in English, with remote sessions arranged around your team. In-person sessions in Dubai can be discussed. VoicePower provides independent communication coaching and is not affiliated with these event organisers.

Meet your coach
"I've coached founders before investor pitches, leaders before layoffs, and up and coming talent before the conversation that would define their next career move. The difference was never talent. It was preparation."
VoicePower is the practice partner I wish every leader had. Use it before the moment. Or work with me directly when the stakes are higher than free practice can solve.

How far ahead should we start?+
Contact us once you know the event date and who will attend. We will propose a realistic scope for the time available. A longer lead time allows rehearsal and feedback across several sessions; availability and delivery are confirmed before booking.
Is this suitable for teams whose first language is not English?+
Yes, if participants can already hold a work conversation in English. We focus on clear pitches, demonstrations and buyer discussions, and assess whether communication coaching fits the team's current needs.
Can you prepare our technical demonstrators as well as salespeople?+
Yes. We can rehearse both the product explanation and the handover between commercial and technical colleagues. The practice uses agreed product materials and realistic buyer questions.
Can we prepare remotely before travelling?+
Yes. Remote preparation can bring the team together before the event. We agree the video format, group size and timing; in-person preparation in Dubai can also be discussed.
Do you arrange stands, introductions or exhibition bookings?+
The programme covers communication preparation. Exhibition bookings, stand design, logistics and buyer introductions are outside its scope.
